In a match many predicted would be a "Stroll In The Park" we were given an extremely stern test by a very resiliant Kyngs Towne side.
Having conceeded a massive 117 goals in just 20 league matches this season many believed that figure would increase dramatically at the hands of an in-form Ventnor eleven !!

Kyngs Towne though were having none of it !!
A nervy start made by Ventnor saw both teams making sloppy mistakes in the first half hour. In for the break at 0-0 was probably a worthy result but saw manager "Mank" rip-into his "Over Partied" side, questioning their will to play div one football next season.
Something clicked as we looked a completely different outfit in the second half. Pushing from the start we finally made the breakthrough when gifted a penalty. Up stepped our regular penalty taker Simon Crates cool, calm and collected he smashed the ball into the back of the net for 1-0
"Barbs" Gets His Nod On It
We didnt have to wait long for the next as "Barbs" grabbed the ball and stylishly finished it off for 2-0. Not to be outdone "Super Sub" Harry Mulholland followed-up a short while later with a very lucky free-kick for 3-0 !!
Although we continued to push forward including a shot off the post and another crashing off the crossbar a dogged and determined Kyngs Towne side gathered their composure and closed out the game.
"Barbs" Gets The Second
Discounting the disasterous first half, the star player without doubt was "Barbs" who featured in 50% of the photographs taken at the match !!
So the simple selection for "Website Man Of The Match" is Stuart Barbrook. Well played mate....star player back to form, nice one.
